Powdercoating FAQs

What is Powder Coating?

Powder Coating is an advanced method of applying a painted finish to a wide range of materials. Powder is applied with a specialised electrostatic gun and then cured by oven baking to form a tough and extremely durable finish.

What are the advantages of Powder Coatings?

Powder coating is one of the most economical, longest lasting and most colour-durable quality finishes available. Powder Coatings have the advantage over liquid paints in that they do not contain harmful solvents. They provide tougher and harder surfaces than most paints. Powder Coatings do not suffer from solvent running and sagging and therefore can be applied thicker than paints, giving longer lasting finishes that are more environmentally friendly. Powder coated surfaces are more resistant to chipping, scratching and fading.

What products can be Powder Coated?
